After the procedure you will be asked to rest at home for one week Light activity is permitted upon your return home, such as walking, riding in a car, or any other activity that is NOT strenuous. For the next six weeks, avoid lifting or carrying small children, groceries, suitcases, or anything weighing more than ten pounds. There will be no exercise for 6 weeks and no driving for 2 weeks.
