Differences Between DHI and FUE Technique

The FUE technique could be very common and famous withinside the field of hair transplantation. Each hair graft is removed from the donor one after the other the use of a punch tool, and this avoids scarring, even as the FUT leaves a permanent scar at the donor and recipient.

DHI hair transplant is a variant of the FUE method, with the main distinction being the method by which hair is implanted. FUE involves making incisions across the entire scalp and inserting follicle units into these incisions. And, with the DHI method, no incisions are required because a patented tool is used during each implantation on the scalp. A robotic hair transplant system can also be used with this method.

DHI method can also be considered as the most effective option since few years.

Which one is better?

Due to its huge variety of positives, the DHI approach is the best among all in the line. First of all, it’s far assured that your treatment will be executed a doctor that has been educated and certified; thus, great and consistency is sure to sore high. There aren’t anyt any stitches and no scars marks in a DHI hair healing process.  The technique is truely painless and results are absolutely natural looking.

What Is the Difference Between DHI and FUE?

DHI Hair Transplant method is the latest technique. In fact, it is the continuation of FUE hair transplant method.

The primary distinction between DHI and FUE is how grafts are implanted into the recipient area. Prior to implantation, the canals must be opened during a FUE hair transplant, allowing the surgeon to manually implant the extracted grafts.

DHI, on the other hand, employs a specialized tool called a Choi Implanter Pen. This allows the implantation stage to begin immediately after extraction, eliminating the need to first create canals for the grafts.

Small incisions are made on the skin during FUE hair transplantation. Slits are formed, and hair follicles are transplanted into them. Because hair follicles may be broken during the transplantation process, the surgeon’s experience and skill are critical in this procedure.

Hair follicles are placed at the tip of a pen called an implanter pen and directly transplanted into the skin during DHI hair transplantation. The pen tip enters the skin, leaves the hair root, and then exits. Because the slit-shaped incisions used in the FUE method do not exist in this method, there is less scarring.

Another difference is that there may be more bleeding in the FUE, when compared to the DHI method.

In the DHI method, you’ll have less blood, crusting, bruising and edema since the implantation is performed directly with a pen without opening the channel.

In DHI hair transplantation, the process of returning to work and social life is a little bit quicker than the FUE method.

The FUE method can be ideal because it covers larger areas, when compared to DHI method. But DHI method provides a good rate of achieving higher density
